Jose Mourinho told Antonio Conte not to ‘humiliate’ him after Chelsea’s
4-0 thrashing of Manchester United

JOSE MOURINHO urged Antonio Conte not to “humiliate” him.

The Manchester United boss embraced his Chelsea counterpart after the Blues’ 4-0 victory and told him what he thought.

Speaking in Italian, he said: “It’s my opinion, but you do it at 1-0 — not at 4-0.

“That’s humiliation for us.”

This was Mourinho's first return to Stamford Bridge since his sacking last December, but it will certainly be a day he wants to quickly forget.

The defeat means he now has an identical record to David Moyes after his first nine matches in charge.

Goals from Pedro, Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N'Golo Kante sealed the victory.

The United chief was asked about the incident in his post match interview but refused to reveal what was said between the pair.

Quizzed by SkySports he said: "It was fine, I was not expecting anything different here. The crowd behaved in a normal way.

"My words were with Antonio Conte were for him, not for you."

Celebrities often seem like ageless, other-worldly beings. But when you realize that some of your idols are the same age as you, it tends to bring them down to earth somewhat.

With this in mind, PrettyFamous, an entertainment site by Graphiq, found the most famous actress the same age as you.

To create this list, PrettyFamous looked at actresses aged 14 to 94 (as of 10/4/2016). Within each age group, PrettyFamous determined the most famous actress by looking at her "Actress Score." This is a score out of 100 that takes into account the total number of IMDb ratings for the TV shows and movies each actress has appeared in, her Wikipedia page views over the past 30 days and the total number of award nominations she has received.

Note: Because recent Wikipedia page views are taken into consideration, the results tend to actresses who are popular now, or whose fame has stood the test of time.
Poorly Brits to get new lifesaving drugs four years sooner as NHS gets
major shake up

SICK Brits will be able to access life saving new drugs and technology four years quicker under a major shake up of the NHS’s approval system.

Britain lags behind other Western countries in signing off new scientific leaps.

Patients and doctors have been forced to wait more than a decade for some crucial treatments, sparking uproar.

Lord Prior of Brampton

Lord Prior says the government is determined to make the UK the best country in the world to develop new drugs
But a new assault on bureaucracy and a process streamlining unveiled by health chiefs today will make the UK “a world-leader”, ministers have pledged.

The developments have been recommended by a review lead by ex-Department of Health boss Sir Hugh Taylor.

Under his recommendation for an ‘Accelerated Access Partnership’, key national health bodies will be brought together to pool knowledge and horizon scan.

Health Minister Lord Prior said: “We are determined to make the UK the best place in the world to develop new drugs and other products that can transform the health of patients.

“The report provides us with a strong basis to make the right decisions about how the health system can be adapted to meet the challenges of the future.”

The development comes as a former Cabinet minister claims the UK’s creaking health system is seeing 46,000 avoidable deaths a year from common serious diseases, such as breast and prostate cancer and stroke.

Former Cabinet minister Owen Paterson will today slam the “political-media consensus” as he reveals how Britain lags far behind other countries in saving lives.

The senior Tory will demand an urgent Government inquiry into why the NHS performs so poorly on international comparisons.

And he will open the door to the private sector doing much more by questioning whether “a centralised state-run monopoly of healthcare” is the best system.

Former Environment Secretary Mr Paterson will say: “It is clear that possibly the most unquestioned consensus in politics today concerns the National Health Service.

“It is an area of public policy that, like no other, a politician dare not touch.

“We simply do not have the best healthcare system in the world and the sooner we debunk the myth, the sooner we can square up to the reality and start improving our healthcare system.”
Clinton aides scramble to address alleged mistress nicknamed 'Energizer
Bunny' Published October 22, 2016 Heat Street Facebook Twitter

Hillary and Bill Clinton’s top aides scrambled in 2014 to respond to a new book detailing Bill Clinton’s relationship with a New York suburban socialite nicknamed “The Energizer Bunny”.

According to leaked emails released Saturday by Wikileaks, the Clintons’ inner circle was roiled by the forthcoming release of the book “The First Family In Detail: Secret Service Agents Reveal The Hidden Lives Of Presidents” by Clinton antagonist Edward Klein. The book alleged that Bill Clinton had a “blonde, buxom mistress” named Julie McMahon, whom the Secret Service reportedly nicknamed “The Energizer Bunny.”

McMahon was a neighbor of the Clintons in their adopted town of Chappaqua in New York’s exclusive Westchester County.

Hillary’s close confidant Cheryl Mills sent a Daily Mail article about the book to Hillary campaign chair and former Bill chief of staff John Podesta.

“Well, they sure managed to get every name into one story. I guess you got to give them credit for that,” Podesta joked back, carbon-copying top Bill aide Tina Fluornoy.
Nigeria needs true federalism, says Bakare

Presiding Pastor of Latter Rain Assembly, Dr. Tunde Bakare, has advocated that the country should return to true federalism to ensure devolution of powers to the component units and ensure their development.

According to him, if Nigeria does not opt for true federalism, the country will be merely be wasting time.

Bakare spoke on Saturday in a speech he delivered at the 14th anniversary of Foursquare Gospel Church, Asokoro, Abuja.

He argued that the prevailing situation had led to over concentration of power and economic resources at the centre.

“The truth must be told, what we need are strong federating units but not a powerful centre. Let every federating unit develop at its pace,”he said.

The cleric also spoke on the ongoing war against corruption in the country, saying the situation had become so bad that even clerics, who should teach morals, were now involved in graft.

Also speaking, Senior Pastor of Foursquare Gospel Church, Asokoro, Babajide Olowodola, stated that what the church had been doing was to make sure that “we are not part of the problem, but working hard to ensure that we bring solutions to the country’s economic problems.”

Two explosions hit Japanese city in apparent suicide, police say

One person was killed and three others were injured Sunday after at least two explosions rocked a Japanese city, authorities said.

Japanese media reports suggest that the victim, believed to be a 72-year-old former military officer, may have set his house on fire, blown up his car in a public parking lot and then blown himself up in a nearby park in Utsunomiya.

A note found in the clothing of the badly burned victim included the name of the former officer, Japanese broadcaster NHK and other media reported. The name was not disclosed. One of the cars destroyed in a fiery blaze in the parking lot belonged to the retired military man, and his house burned to the ground earlier on Sunday, the reports said.

The back-to-back loud bangs in the park and parking lot shocked bystanders, many heading to a festival at the park on a sunny autumn day. The apparent blasts occurred around 11:30 a.m. within about 200 yards of each other. The festival was canceled after the incidents.

The explosions occurred in a span of approximately one minute and 15 seconds.

A man who was in the park at the time of the blasts told NHK that he heard a loud noise and smelled gunpowder. The witness added that he saw three people on the ground.

Utsunomiya, the capital of Tochigi prefecture, is a city of some 500,000 people about 60 miles north of Tokyo. It is near the popular tourist destination of Nikko.
BLUES BATTER JOSE Chelsea 4 Manchester United 0: Jose Mourinho stunned

And goals from Gary Cahill, Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante killed United off and left them six points off the top of the table and only seven off the drop zone.

The fastest goal of the Premier League season so far came when Marcos Alonso dinked a hopeful ball down the line that befuddled the centre-back pairing of captain Chris Smalling, Daley Blind and keeper David de Gea. Pedro nipped in to poke home leaving Mourinho with a stunned smile as he turned away in shock.

And Smalling was again at fault for United’s second. The defender was supposed to be marking opposite captain Gary Cahill at corners, but he lost his man and the England defender smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

David Luiz got away with a spiteful challenge on 40 minutes. Marouane Fellaini had been dishing it out a bit but the Brazilian went over the top with a knee-high tackle that left the Belgian wiggling about on the floor in pain, briefly.

On 62 minutes, Mourinho’s nightmare was complete. Hazard, accused last season of downing tools for his former boss in the wake of the Eva Carneiro row, made a mockery of Smalling’s marking and poked home.

And the best was still to come when N’Golo Kante – the defensive midfielder famous for his discipline and selflessness – danced through the pathetic United defence, leaving Smalling all at sea, and scuffed the ball perfectly past David de Gea.

FACTS, STATS, GOALS & LOLS

  • Mourinho’s return to the Stamford Bridge touchline was muted, to say the least. No welcome-back roar from anyone.

  • £30m defender Luke Shaw couldn’t even get on the bench for this United horror show. Daley Blind started at left-back and Marcos Rojo was a second-half sub.

  • Jose's return got a lot louder after his side shipped the first goal after just 34 seconds. Stand-in skipper Chis Smalling let Pedro in to score.

  • Captain Chris Smalling allowed Pedro to run through and score the opener

  • Captain Chris Smalling allowed Pedro to run through and score the opener

A section of Chelsea fans turned on Mourinho after the second goal was thumped in by Gary Cahill. The unoriginal ‘You’re not special any more’ rang out.

Conte looks like a well-dressed crab as he shuffles up and down the touchline side-to-side. His technical area is a waste of paint for how much time he spends in it.

With United staring another embarrassing league defeat down the barrel at half-time, Mourinho rolled the dice and replaced Marouane Fellaini with playmaker Juan Mata. It looked like it might work – until Hazard struck.

Hazard had a field day against his former manager as United struggled to cope with him

Smalling had a nightmare. He dithered for the opener, lost Cahill for the second, allowed Hazard too much time and space for the killer third and was made to look like a pub player by Kante for the fourth.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic disappeared when his side needed him most. Chelsea might have been vulnerable without John Terry but the Swede never tested them.
Kante’s goal was brilliant. The idea that such a defensive player, known mainly for his running and tackling, could do that to the Manchester United defence caused giggles.
Mourinho has now lost three of his first nine top-flight matches as Manchester United manager. His third defeat as Chelsea boss came in his 64th Premier League fixture.

More than 12,000 police are being brought in to clear the makeshift camp of its 10,000 migrants.

And tensions boiled over tonight as an angry mob of around 50 men pelted police with missiles.

Dramatic images showed riot police facing off with refugees just 36 hours before the camp is torn down.
'The Walking Dead' Season 7 Premiere: Catch Up With the Biggest
Cliffhangers (Who Dies?)
The Walking Dead's long-awaited return arrives on AMC Sunday, October 23, and fans are rarin' for it. The seventh season of the Emmy-winning series promises new characters, squishier zombies and, of course, a resolution to the endless anguished torment of wondering whose cranium got crackedwith a barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat on the last episode of season 6.
But before we get the payoff we've all been waiting for, let's look back on who was where the last time we checked in with the survivors of the zombie apocalypse.

Swing and a hit

We'll just start with the obvious: In case you somehow missed out on the biggest cliffhanger of last season's finale (not to mention the entire history of the series), most of the Walking Dead cast ended season 6 on their knees in a forest clearing, watching newly arrived villain Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) beat an as-yet-unrevealed member of the crew to death. But while that might be the most immediate problem facing the Grimes gang at the moment, let's not forget about …

Maggie in distress

Midway through last season, we learned that Maggie (Lauren Cohan) had a bun in the oven — but something seemed to be going very wrong with the baby when we last saw her. In fact, it was a quest to get Maggie to the Hilltop colony doctor that got the Alexandria natives into their current mess, as Negan's goons closed off the roads and effectively corralled them like sheep to a slaughter. If Maggie survives Negan's entrance, she'll still be in serious trouble, unless she gets medical attention ASAP.

Josh McDermitt as Dr Eugene Porter; Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes; Sonequa Martin-Green as Sasha; Michael Cudlitz as Sgt Abraham Ford; Ross Marquand as Aaron; Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes - The Walking Dead Season 6.

Carol on the run

The good news is, Carol (Melissa McBride) was not among the potential victims of Negan's murderous debut. The bad news is, she won't be baking her famous cookies again anytime soon. Overwhelmed with guilt about the lives she'd taken, Carol fled Alexandria before things went south in season 6, and ended up seriously injured by the one surviving member of the Saviors she gunned down on the road. Teasers for the upcoming season have revealed that she'll survive long enough to see the Kingdom, but mentally? She's in rough shape.
Today's Brutal DDoS Attack Is the Beginning of a Bleak Future
yfdhwofn.jpg

This morning a ton of websites and services, including Spotify and Twitter, were unreachable because of a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack on Dyn, a major DNS provider. Details of how the attack happened remain vague, but one thing seems certain. Our internet is frightfully fragile in the face of increasingly sophisticated hacks.

Some think the attack was a political conspiracy, like an attempt to take down the internet so that people wouldn’t be able to read the leaked Clinton emails on Wikileaks. Others think it’s the usual Russian assault. No matter who did it, we should expect incidents like this to get worse in the future. While DDoS attacks used to be a pretty weak threat, we’re entering a new era.

DDoS attacks, at the most basic level, work like this. An attacker sends a flurry of packets, essentially just garbage data, to an intended recipient. In this case, the recipient was Dyn’s DNS servers. The server is overwhelmed with the garbage packets, and can’t handle the incoming connections, eventually slowing down significantly or totally shutting down. In the case of Dyn, it was probably a little more complex than this. Dyn almost certainly has advanced systems for DDoS mitigation, and the people who attacked Dyn (whoever they are) were probably using something more advanced than a PC in their mom’s basement.

Recently, we’ve entered into a new DDoS paradigm. As security blogger Brian Krebs notes, the newfound ability to highjack insecure internet of things devices and turn them into a massive DDoS army has contributed to an uptick in the size and scale of recent DDoS attacks. (We’re not sure if an IoT botnet was what took down Dyn this morning, but it would be a pretty good guess.)

We are nevertheless getting a taste of what the new era of DDoS attacks look like, however. As security expert Bruce Schneier explained in a blog post:
Over the past year or two, someone has been probing the defenses of the companies that run critical pieces of the Internet. These probes take the form of precisely calibrated attacks designed to determine exactly how well these companies can defend themselves, and what would be required to take them down. We don’t know who is doing this, but it feels like a large nation state. China or Russia would be my first guesses.

This sort of attack is deeply different than the headline-grabbing DDoS attacks of years past. In 2011, hacker collective Anonymous rose to fame with DDoS attacks that pale in comparison to today’s attack on Dyn. Instead of taking out an individual website for short periods of time, hackers were able to take down a major piece of the internet backbone for an entire morning—not once but twice. That’s huge.

Sponsored

If hackers are more easily able to amass extensive DDoS botnets, that means the internet as we know it becomes more vulnerable. Attacking major internet infrastructure like Dyn has always been a possibility, but if it becomes easier than ever to launch huge DDoS attacks, that means we might be seeing some of our favorite sites have more downtime than usual. These attacks could extend to other major pieces of internet infrastructure, causing even more widespread outages.

This could be the beginning of a very bleak future. If hackers are able to take down the internet at will, what happens next? It’s unclear how long it could take for the folks at Dyn to fix this problem, or if they will ever be able to solve the problem of being hit with a huge DDoS attack. But this new breed of DDoS attacks is a scary problem no matter how you look at it.
