Despite N’Delta talks, militants bomb crude export pipelines


A yet-to-be identified militant group in Niger Delta on Tuesday reportedly brought down two major crude oil delivery lines supplying the Trans Forcados Export trunk line in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State.
Sources in the community told our correspondent on Wednesday that the incident occurred at around 1:40am on Tuesday around the Batan community in the Warri South West Local Government Area of the state.

Prince’s Minnesota studio to permanently open as museum

Late pop icon Prince’s Paisley Park studio compound in Minnesota will become open to the public on Friday, after gaining final approval as a museum.
The “Purple Rain” star’s complex was scheduled to open earlier this month, but that was delayed after city officials asked the site’s operator to better plan for an influx of visitors.

A self-styled Lagos prophet, 52-year-old Amos Ojo, who allegedly collected N800, 000 from a man on the pretext of executing a project, is to enjoy temporary freedom as he was released on a N300,000 bail.
